For over 60 years, the Zaffiro family of Channel Fish Processing (CFP) has provided the freshest, highest quality North Atlantic fish to wholesalers everywhere. As one of Boston’s most respected family run companies, CFP has grown from its humble beginnings on the Historic Boston fish pier, to a company that is truly global in scope.

Our History

• 1946 – Blue Sea Fish Co. is established as a fresh seafood company by the Zaffiro family.
• 1964 – Channel Fish Co. started as a frozen subsidiary of Blue Sea.
• 1975 – Channel Fish Co. purchased from the founders by the second generation.
• 1984 - Cousins Roy and John Zaffiro merged and became the one of the only seafood companies on the eastern sea board to process both fresh and frozen seafood at one location – Channel Fish Processing Co. Inc.
• 1999 - Current facility purchased at Foodmart Road.
• Today - After 60 years in business Channel continues to grow, still offering the service you expect from a family owned business.
